How Far The Humble Fall

Chapter 1 || Chapter 2 || Chapter 3 || Chapter 4 || Chapter 5

"So tell me more of these dark places that you go."

Azazeal had moved off away from the bar, so that Adela could speak in private with him, and to also watch how Bethany reacted to all the open sexuality happening all around her in the club, and especially with Emily who was now leaning close to her as Bethany still stared at him. The spark of first crush jealousy was all but flowing from her, and that pleased him no end. He stroked his long fingers down Adela's neck.

"Don't mind Ian." Bethany jumped with a start when Emily whispered in her ear, or as quiet of a whisper as was practical in the club. "It doesn't mean anything. He flirts with everybody, and Mistress Adela is an old friend of his."

Bethany turned to face the girl. Her chain was gone, but her eyes fell on the little black collar around her neck. Emily also wore a little black leather and lace corset that barely covered her nipples, a skirt so short that it barely covered her and seamed black stocking with five-inch high heels on her feet. She was pretty. "It's just that I've never been in a place like this before." She leaned closer. "Is it always like this with know...?" She really didn't know quite how to put it into words. It wasn't just kissing, but bodies rubbing, breasts being sucked upon and dicks being stroked...and by both men and women. And she wanted to look but was afraid to stare, but there was nowhere else to look.

Grinning, Emily answered. "Oh yes! Mistress Adela believes there's a place where people can pleasure themselves in freedom. Let's go sit over on that empty couch. If Ian's making you a bit jealous, I'll show you how you can get his attention back." She gave a follow-me wave and led Bethany over to the couch. "Just sit back and relax."

It wasn't easy to relax with all the gyrating bodies around them and Ian still talking and getting very close with Adela, but she tried, leaning back and sipping her drink. It tasted a little odd, but she was too distracted, and definitely not familiar enough with it to recognize that a little vodka had been added to it. "How will we get his attention?"

God! She was so clueless! Emily almost rolled her eyes, but instead she leaned in closer. "Like this." As her hand rested on Bethany's thigh, she kissed her softly and didn't hesitate as she pulled back in surprise.

"Wow!" Never would she have thought that kissing a girl would be so...nice. Nothing like kissing Ian, but still nice. "Won't Adela mind? You and her are...?"

"I'm her pet, but if she minds I'll just get punished." By her grin, it was clear she didn't mind that. Although she might not, as this is exactly what Adela had told her to do. "Don't worry." Emily kissed her again, pleased that the other girl seemed far more keen this time. Her fingers slipped up and in between her thighs to brush against her lace panties. At her jump, she softly reassured her. "Just relax. Can you see what Ian's doing?"

The fingers didn't stop as she looked for Ian. It felt good, but she was also a little uncomfortable, but she didn't seem to want to tell Emily to stop. And the more she was played with the better it felt. There was Ian, and he was looking at them, and eyebrow raised, and then he smiled and came over. "Having fun?"

"Errr...Ian! I'm...I'm..." She flushed, realizing that anyone could have seen them.

He shook his head. "You're just fine. Emily's taking wonderful care of you." He took her hand and helped her up. After kissing her, he looked at them both. "I promised to show you about make up. Find a spare room upstairs and have everything ready for us, Emily. I just have to check into one little thing, then I'll meet you up there."

Emily grinned and nodded and took Bethany's hand, beginning to lead her away but she turned and saw Azazeal mouth, "Behave." That sobered her up a little.

He followed after them, but as they went onto a room at the end of the hall, he stopped and one of the other doors opened for him. Walking inside, he stepped over a junkie lying passed out on the floor and headed straight to another one huddled in the corner. "Toby, look at me."

"Ian?" The shaking man, well he looked barely into adulthood, looked up blinking. Even though his eyes were dull, and his hair unwashed and lank, he looked vaguely like Bethany.

"You want more, don't you? Need more." Toby nodded, even holding out his hand, hopeful that Azazeal would give him more stuff, as he had done before. "It's not free anymore, Toby. You have to earn it."

"I don't have anything! Please?"

He snarled, lifting Toby easily off the floor. "There's a whole load of people downstairs there who would love something that you can sell. Turn tricks, then you can shoot up again."

"I can't...Ian!"

Another man appeared in the doorway, and Azazeal didn't even turn around. "Take him out, throw him in the gutter. Pathetic humans." He stepped out and continued down the hallway, a smile slowly growing across his lips.

I find the world is a far different place without more of Humanity caught up in the Mysteries. They seem to have replaced them with mindless movies, electronic games, drugs and whatever other thing that they can do to fill up that void. Without such education to at least a few, without rites of passage - they fall.....which I am sure pleases you no end.

Your little Toby reminds me of the men who become Fae Struck when loved by a Fae woman - or even get a taste of Sidhe mead, which is a thousand times more gratifying and addictive as cocaine and they can think of nothing else. If they do not get more they will kill, lie, cheat, even prostitute themselves just for the smallest taste of it once more. Which is exactly why I reserve it for the very few. I've only made a few mistakes as to whom could weather its pleasures and who couldn't.

And...perhaps....*a small nefarious grin appears on her face* I have used it on one or two whom I knew quite well could not handle either. It was a rather delicious sight witnessing their self-destruction.

As for poor Bethany...Poor lamb. You really are going to turn her into something else aren't you?

Let us be honest, Azazeal; I see how Jocelyn looks after you. I know you have been around - it is quite impossible to miss that signature that you leave behind. Thankfully Sebastien has no clue about that yet. And I will warn you now that she is schooled and will be further educated in the Mysteries - quite unlike your other little pets. It may very well be she who decides to turn you inside out, mon ami....and then where will you be? *smirk*

OOC: This gives me sooo many ideas, and actually I do believe Faelyn has a story in mind of her past. Azazeal is suck a dick....but she would never use that word to describe the male genetalia btw. To her it is just not as lovely a descriptive as 'cock' - descriptive of proud, (and hopefully) erect....umm...yeah! ;)

Of course it does. The less humans know about and remember the ancient rites, the better. One thing I do adore about them is their blissful ignorance. Look at how they prefer to depict us, fae with those little wings that your so love *grins* and angels with pretty feathered wings and halos. And I won't even get into demons. It's so easy to take advantage.

It's because of that that I gave dear old Toby something so normal to humans as heroin and crack. They would have such a difficult time believing the properties of Sidhe mead, or the true dangers of being Fae Struck. No, it works better to my plans that it is quite ordinary to them. At least for now. My game with their father is to show this paragon of society and integrity, that he's far from perfect.

Also, it passes the time.

She'll turn herself, Faelyn. Little Bethany has yet to realize just how deep she can go. And you know that I look forward to being there.

*very slight nod, acknowledging the little 'heads up'* You know that I've often visited Jocelyn from since she was very small. Nothing has changed. She is a very dear and cherished friend, much as you are. And I am sure that once she is fully educated, she will show her full potential. She is no Bethany to me at all...and do you think I would regard your daughter as such? *shrugs* She enjoys my company as much as I do hers.

Oh, please. You know damned well that I have very little love of humans on the whole. You take advantage because they take advantage - and far too many liberties.

Their society is a joke. And the man has more than enough to keep him occupied. And now he will have even more. I cannot wait to read the novel. *stiffling a yawn*

At this rate, Little Bethany is more than likely going to get knocked up in the bargain - and I doubt the child will be one of your issue. *soft laugh*

I know that you have. Hence my reason for saying so. *looks at him quite pointedly* That may be true, Azazeal, but I was never given the opportunity to dress you up in overlarge hats and treat you to a tea party. Of course, Morgienne made sure nearly all things resembling anything of chidhood was not a part of my life. And no, I am not feeling sorry for myself or jealous of the fact that Jocelyn both gets to have her childhood and mre of your obviously devoted attention.

No. Jocelyn is no Bethany. And I would expect to protect her as much if not more than you protected me. *smirk* She already is far in advance of her studies. I can barely contain her just long enough to remain in keeping with any of the Sidhe Traditions, or those of the Fortunate Island. She is astounding and so very strong. If the Watchers ever want someone or something to worry about, she would be the one. And to answer your question, no I do not belive you are that stupid, Azazeal. You know whom I know - and I am on very good terms with your current and former bretheren. But I happen to, unwisely perhaps, like you more. Please do not make me regret my partiality. *raised eyebrow*

*sighing* I know that she does. Perhaps even more.

Almost as little love as I do. I take advantage because they are His ignorant, mindless sheep.

Oh Faelyn, he has trivial matters occupying him. I'm sure he'll find these far more interesting. And please try to keep awake, I'm sure you'll be fascinated.

Well, seeing as I spent so long trying to beget a child, I would be surprised if any offspring will be mine. *is not put out by her laugh*

Times were different then, dressing up for tea parties was hardly what anyone did then. *sighs* So you do begrudge Joie-lyn's friendship with me because I wasn't around enough during yours..

I know that she is doing exceedingly well in her studies, a stellar student indeed especially when it comes to opening portals to other realms that you still don't know about. And I fully agree with you about those Watchers...perhaps they'll even be my next distraction. I would be absolutely offended if you did think me stupid, just because I don't hold many of those brethren in the same esteem. I'm glad to hear that, I know that, perhaps despite your better judgement, you do favour me, and I do appreciate it. Truly.

*says nothing*

Of course.

Oh, I am quite sure I will, too. Especially if you cause one more of the 'Sheep' to actually implode. Now, that would be most entertaining.

I am sure it would not be for any of your lack of trying. *nefarious smile*

*exasperated sigh* No. I do not. Jocelyn certainly is deserving of your attentions and admiration. Besides, what I resent more than your mere absence was your role in assisting in your way to insure that I had no childhood at all. I went from child of four years of age to Morgienne's Priestess Dedicant almost instantly. And yes, I do blame you for that part.

The only other thing I must be careful of is she does seem to have a bit more bloodlust than most even Unseelie children do. Why are you encouraging her then? What if she were to get into something she could not deal with? *purring* Did I ever any time even remotely infer that you were that unintelligent? *smiling at him charmingly. Liar. You are not the least bit 'glad' of anything of the kind. Of course you do. :)

*makes careful note of his pointed silence on the matter*

Maybe I will arrange for one to implode for your next birthday. *smirk*

Well, I do like to keep in practice.

Thank you. It makes me feel so much better to have your approval. You might regret your lack of childhood, Faelyn, and even blame me for merely guiding matters onto the right path, but do you regret what it, in the end, gave you? Where would you be now without my assisting Morgienne?

Isn't that only to be expected, given who her parents are? Do you expect me to discourage her? I don't believe she would find herself in such a situation. No, you didn't, and by the same token never said that you did. *smiles back with equal charm* Really, isn't presuming to tell me what I do or don't feel a little unnecessary, Faelyn.

Oh, you are ever so thoughtful, Azazeal. I think I can safely say no one else would give me anything quite like that! *smirks back at him*

No doubt.

I do not recall ever saying I actully approved, but I see no harm....for now.I never said I regretted my life - but perhaps I would be a far better mother to my daughters if I had the slightest inkling how one was supposed to be with them! . Surely Morgienne was not the motherly type. She was not even fit to rule. Did you know that I have been told Goblin mothers are more more attached and involved than I am!? I should blame you for that, too.

That is beside the point. The child does not know violence. Why would she? Her father adores her and she has never seen what I can do with a Sidhe blade....yet. I do not "expect" anything of you, Azazeal. And how can you be so sure? *exasperated look* I have never had anything but the utmost respect for you, Azazeal at least as much as you were deserving of.

With you? Define 'unnecessary'.

You know how much I like to pleasure please you.

A lack of disapproval is surely a sign of silent approval. Good. What? And I thought the maternal instinct was something that was automatic. Blame me? Of course, why not. I'm blamed for all the worlds' ills. You have seemed to have done fairly well despite this...handicap.

The violence is in her blood, on both sides, she does not need to have personal experience of it. It is there. Because I'm sure she could handle anything that happens with as much grave and capability as yourself or the Comte would. Why thank you *smirk* Of course, some would agree I'm deserving of none.

*laughs* How could you possibly understand what I feel?</s?

And here I was thinking I was the only guy on the block who was prone to seducing young girls and getting the local kids hooked on smack. I must say, you really are providing some competition here. You missed your calling, Azzie, my boy. I'm positively sure Uncle Sam would have loved to have you working for him in the CIA, maybe a little more lucrative for you....or are you still doing what you do in hopes of coping a feel of the next ripe little Wiccan girl that you find?

Pity, seems such a waste of real talent there.

Sands, no matter how well practiced you are in such matters, and you are, compared to me, you are still an amateur. Why don't you just sit back and learn from the master? The little Wiccan girls, are just a pleasant distraction, and while I'm sure the CIA would love to have me, I think someone like yourself is far better suited.

I put my talent to very good use.
